Andi Smith
Co-Owner & Curriculum Director
Andi Smith completed her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology from San Diego State University in 2012. She then went on to complete her Masters in Education along with her teaching credential with an emphasis in deaf and hard of hearing from University of San Diego. During her masters program she received additional training on parent-infant education and how to incorporate lessons & language development into everyday life. She’s always dreamed of homeschooling her children and teaching them through life experiences on the road. Andi went on to teach students with hearing loss in Santa Ana Unified School District working with K-12th grade. She has three children and lives with her family in San Clemente, California.
Kathryn Martin
Co-Owner & Administrative Director
Kathryn Martin completed her Master’s in Education and teaching credential with University of Southern California in 2015. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Literature. She began her career teaching High School English at Santa Margarita Catholic School. It has always been a dream of hers to open up an education community in which students and parents alike can lean on one another as we raise the next generation of both educated and empathetic souls. She has three children and lives with her family in Dana Point, California.
Michelle Gerola
Kindergarten Teacher
Michelle Gerola completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cal State University, Fullerton in 2013. Michelle has an extensive background working with kids ages Pre-K-6th grade. Her years of experience include working at The Learning Connection (TLC), The Children’s Center, and Big Brothers Big Sisters OC. Michelle is outgoing and kind, with a passion for teaching and a love for kids. She loves creating fun and safe learning environments for kids to explore and grow. Michelle is able to rise to any challenge and leads with kindness and enthusiasm. She believes that interactive play, exploration, creativity, and the great outdoors are excellent tools for learning. She believes that kids thrive in outdoor environments with fresh air, sunshine, and (supervised) freedom to explore the world around them. Michelle knows that kids will always remember how you make them feel and she hopes her littles remember Kindergarten as a great year!
